The Feed in Tariff for Solar PV changes from the 1st July, and not 1st August as previously proposed by the Government, which has put a few solar industry noses out of joint.
There will be modest reductions for domestic scale systems:
So with these modest reductions in the Feed in Tariff rate, and the continued low cost of solar PV systems, there are still good returns to be made with Solar PV.
There are other reductions in the rates for the larger installation sizes that are typically used in commercial situations. We have only published the rates that are likely to affect homeowners looking at fitting solar panels after the 30th June for simplicity. You can see the full list of changes here.
